Our Christmas 2005 celebration...just how did it actually go for us? Well, here let me tell yah, on Christmas Eve as like the many, I was pretty busy gift wrapping, which everybody does in discreet, and I did, too. I went upstairs leaving Tiana behind (the always with me girl), and locking the door, not taking any chances of her following me and possibly fall in the process. She cried because she wanted to go upstairs with me, then went to tell her Daddy on me...LOL. I could hear her prancing around looking for me, checking if I was back yet being left to wonder what I must be doing up there.  When I finished, I made a mistake with taking a few presents with me downstairs. Tiana saw them and boy! The sight of the presents surely got her going, she was frantically excited, jumping for joy, she kept running around and gazing upstairs as she probably was thinking ah...there has to be more up there. As I was wrapping gifts, I thought, hmmm....I should just bring some downstairs and put them underneath the Christmas tree already. What was I thinking? Ugh! My husband said to me, hey...those presents are supposed to have come from Santa Clause. I want her to believe in Santa Claus as she’s just a child, to bring her presents on Christmas morning. I goofed it again, spoiled the surprise just like last year, and years before but I really will try to do better. Tiana didn’t want to go sleep then, and was crying for her presents to be opened, we kept saying "no", let’s wait till morning, and eventually she didn’t resist us and went to sleep. Christmas morning came soon enough, and Tiana was just ecstatic, couldn’t wait to open her presents. I, myself kinda fell into the excitement with opening presents after all as my husband had told me that I have presents, too...LOL. I guess he just couldn’t leave me out though I often remind him not to get any presents for me because I just don’t think it’s wise and necessary, spending the money when we can use it for the more important things. Having a heavy heart didn’t help either for me to get excited and enthusiastic about celebrating for the holidays. I didn’t feel like getting up and decorate our house as to why our tree was decorated in the last minute.

Okay, here I’ll share how we liked our presents. Tiana received lots of presents such as, Barbie karaoke stereo, Barbie toys, different toys, and a real cute acoustic guitar. As for me, my husband gave me a few nice things as well like J.Lo Still fragrant set, a quite beautiful make up set, make up brush set, and an ipod, mp3-music player. And for my husband, what I got for him, ah, a simple cologne set only it didn’t turn out to be for him but for me. The cologne set I bought meant for my husband, was for a woman...LOL, labeled "Charlie White" for a romantic and irresistible scent. It didn’t say or indicated that it was for women nor for men, so how was I supposed to know buying it, but only by guessing. It irked me..., I don’t mind replacing my presents for him though since I’d have more time to look for what I want to give him, a much better one. Later in the day, evening came, we proceeded with having a nice usual ham dinner. With us, it’s always ham for Christmas, turkey for Thanksgiving, barbeque pork ribs for the 4^th of July. And for the rest of the holidays and special occasions, well, we don’t worry, as we have the option to either go out to eat or cook at home some delicious foods we can find like steaks, etc. Our Christmas day went okay despite of the little mis'hap giving my hubby a wrong Christmas gift and being a bit unprepared. We celebrated along with a friend Tom, my family back home in the Phines chatting with us on YM-voice chat, and with my sistah Nora and her husband Roger-mah bro. in law in Illinois (they just went out to eat again). We drunk wines afterwards, but while I was chatting I was getting dizzy-light headed, I felt like my head was spinning. I chatted and chatted until I sobbed seeing my family on web-cam and remembering my uncle no longer with us, I just couldn't help my emotions sometimes...I break lose. Anyway, if you want to see..."Our Christmas 2005" photos just help yourself to it. We had a quicky celebration, the table wasn't set up properly, house not cleaned up, and goes with everything else scattered all over the place-toys cluttering our living room, etc, so just excuse us for now. I patched up our wallpaper where Tiana marked all over with a bunch of ball point pens, I went over them with a brush of paint, silly me, stupid idea. It was "dumb" according to my husband who also keeps saying...."duh".... Alright until next time, enjoy the photos.

hi ana, thanks for sharing the pictures. it is good to know that your having a blast last christmas. it is really fun celebrating the season with love ones. but oh my when we also remember our family back in PI we also feel bad. (that happens to me too last xmas i was chatting with my neice at home and saw them on webcam they have fun and i do missed them) Anyway, that is life though as long as they are healthy and safe that makes us more happy right. ;)

Hi Ana, I am glad you decide to put up christmas tree because Tiana will be asking about her present. My Andrew since I put up the christmas tree he keep asking when will be the christmas day so Santa will come and giving him a present until I put all the present under the tree and his keep asking more. Lucky my sister in law buy snowman calendar for Andrew to look at how many days left before christmas and it help and every pocket she put candy and chocolate. I am glad my sister in law bought the calendar for me. otherwise Andrew will drive me crazy. You little is getting big dili matagdan dalaga nana pohon. Akong anak dako na pod. Kinsa man ga luto atong inyong mga food? Ikaw? Lami kaayo to oi, di ko kabalo mo luto ug mga ingon ana nga food. Pinoy foods lang intawon akong nahibal-an. Sama sa adobo, humba, ug uban nga mga pinoy party foods.
